We want to announce the following changes that have been made to the drugs lists at this time:

Olanzapine has been moved from the Possible Risk list to the Conditional Risk of TdP list for the conditions: 1) use with Known Risk drugs and 2) patients with hypokalemia.

Terlipressin, a vasopressin analog, has been added to the list of drugs with Known Risk of TdP because of clear evidence of TdP.

BendamustineMelperone and Romidepsin have been added to the Possible Risk of TdP list because there is clear evidence of prolongation of QT without evidence of TdP at this time.

Droxidopa, a medicine that is converted to norepinephrine in the body, has been added to the list of Drugs to Avoid in patients with CLQTS.

Because these newly added drugs can cause QT prolongation, they will also be placed on the list of Drugs to Avoid (if medically feasible) in patients with Congenital Long QT Syndrome.

Thank you for your support of CredibleMeds.org and wish you all happy new year.
