James E. Tisdale, PharmD, BCPS, FCCP, FAPhA, FAHA

Tisdale.jpgDr. Tisdale earned his BSc in pharmacy at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada and PharmD at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed a residency at the University of Manitoba Health Sciences Centre and a postdoctoral fellowship in Cardiovascular Pharmacology & Therapeutics at Hartford Hospital and the University of Connecticut. From 1990-2002 he was Assistant/Associate Professor in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. Currently, he is a Professor in the College of Pharmacy at Purdue University and Adjunct Professor, School of Medicine, Indiana University.

Dr. Tisdale’s research on the prevention and management of naturally occurring and drug-induced arrhythmias has resulted in > 100 journal articles, book chapters and abstracts. Jim is the co-editor of the book, Drug-Induced Diseases: Prevention, Detection and Management, which is in its second edition.
